　{Brief History:} Link Charles grew up in a very small pack consisting of only four adults: His parents and two uncles, Heru and Fernando. He was well-loved by his mother and raised to dream big, and to always take an extra moment to appreciate all he is given; growing up in a hunting region that could, at any moment, seize his life, this was an important thing to keep in mind, even to his harsh father. His brother Vio vanished from the den at a young age, and as a teenager, the white wolf Yovo was shot and killed. Link was very close to his mother and was in a depression for a number of months, much to his father's aggravation. To his dad, life in those cruel mountains offered no time for tears or mourning, which led to many confrontations between father and son.
With no alpha female in the Charles pack, Asad welcomed the young female Varceline into the fold when herself and his last litter were young adults. Link fell madly in love with this quirky, sweet female, and she showed him an even deeper beauty in life existed than Link thought. She embraced life and all within it, even Link's father as he killed her out of envy (it was clear she and his son would become mates, and he had no intention of leaving the alpha male position). Link fought his father wildly, obtaining a gnarly scar over his left eye in the process that damaged his sight in this eye. In the end, Asad and Link met an agreement: Link could take Varceline's body and bury it, so long he fled the pack and did not return at any cost. Link took it, and has since then been a loner... until now!
